Ca c'est un de mes clips préférés! Venant de la part d'Ayumi Hamasaki, il y a de quoi être surpris même si le clip d'Endless Sorrow avait autant de puissance qu'alterna. Ce qui me plaît ici, ce n'est pas cette ambiance crade et malsaine qui règne, ni même le morceau rock qui détone à chaque note, ni même la bôôôté d'Ayumi (qui ici est réduite à pas grand chose en faite), mais c'est cette histoire, cette morale, presque ce jugement qu'on porte au travers du clip. J'explique ou le pv paraît suffisamment compréhensible? J'explique. En clair, à travers cette vidéo, on nous montre comme les maisons de disque manipulent leur artiste. Comment elles les font connaître, les exploitent et les sucent de tout leur talent avant de les jeter lorsqu’ils n’ont plus de succès. Un message fort qui s'allie bien avec la carrière d'Ayumi Hamasaki qui, en 2001, devait faire la promotion de son A BEST. Ayumi ne voulait pas d’un best-of, synonyme pour elle de fin de carrière. Néanmoins, on l’y obligea et c’est ainsi que sortit A BEST, la 6ème meilleure vente nippone de tous les temps. Et en 2005, année où elle sortit ce clip, on la disait déjà morte et enterrée d'où la fin presque tragique du clip. Néanmoins, pour information, ses deux derniers singles se sont vendus à un peu moins de 200.000 exemplaires, un assez bon score pour ce dinosaure de la Jpop, monde où tout est éphémère!
